Admission is mainly based on academic merit. Selection for admission lies solely within the discretion of the Polytechnic.

Applicants should ensure that they meet the Course Minimum Entry Requirements and the Vision & Fitness requirements for the courses, which they wish to be considered for. Applicants must also be prepared to attend interviews and undergo any aptitude or other tests, when requested.

Applicants seeking admission are required to fulfill the following:

• Duly complete & submit the prescribed application form and the supporting documents within the application period or upon request;
• Be personally responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information provided in their application and other documents/forms submitted to the polytechnic;
• Be certified physically and mentally fit to pursue the course.

The acceptance of an application does not constitute any commitment by Temasek Polytechnic to admit a candidate. The offer of a place also depends upon the number of places available and the quality of those competing for a place.
