Carlos Hinrichsen in TP

Carlos Hinrichsen, President elect of ICSID, The International Council of Societies of Industrial Design will be visiting TDS. Carlos Hinrichsen graduated as industrial designer in Chile in 1982. He holds a Master of Engineering degree received in Japan in 1991. Since 1992, he has held the position of the Director of the School of Design, Instituto Profesional DuocUC of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Carlos Hinrichsen was an Icsid board member from 2001 to 2005 and has been President-Elect of the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design from 2005 to 2007. From October 2007, he will hold the position of President for two years. He acts as juror in international design competitions such as the 6th Cycle of the Dubai International Award for Best Practices to Improve the Living Environment (DIABP) and the red dot design award.
