Dick is co-founder and CEO of Seymour Powell. Since forming Seymourpowell in 1984, the consultancy has risen to a commanding position on the international stage, with clients as diverse as Nokia, Dell, Yamaha, Tefal, Casio, Jaguar and BMW.

DEFA (Design for Aging) is Temasek Design School’s Design Initiative for the year 2007. The students will look into the study of gerontology with practical design outcomes, exploring new opportunities to foster design innovation so as to enhance the built environment and quality of life for our aging society. Temasek Design School’s DEFA will spearhead the generation of design ideas in the fields of assistive technology and design, in the office workplace, product ergonomics, mobility and transportation, visual design and communication.

2006 Asia Pacific Interior Design Biennial Award

Temasek Design School students won the top 3 prizes at the 2006 Asia Pacific Interior Design Biennial Award. In a brief that required participants to be original, innovative, creative and cost effective with space planning, our Interior Architecture and Design students captured the top prizes in the student category. Temasek Design School proudly acknowledges the effort of the 8 finalists from the School’s Interior Architecture and Design (IAD) Diploma Course.

MIT Visit to Temasek Polytechnic
