Environment Design Students Making Mark

Temasek Design School’s Environment Design students are already making a mark on the local landscape. EVD has been working in collaboration with National Parks Board in their national effort at raising green awareness. Green Thumb 2007 is an event organized by the NPB to showcase different aspects of the Landscaping Industry, the Government’s effort in making Singapore green and the impact to the environment, and to highlight career and training opportunities. TP’s Diploma in Environment Design course participated in the Interiorscape Design and Exhibition and created visual displays and models to educate and encourage the public to join this world wide green agenda. It was held from 14 to 15 September 2007, stretching from the open space of Dhoby Ghaut MRT to the Cathay Building and officiated by Mr. Lim Swee Say, Minister of State/ Prime Minister Office.
