Currently, we're designing household products and each of us had different briefs. We had our designs ready and yes! The brand for it too. We'll be learning on how to operate the CNC and the 3D printer for rapid prototyping.
We had a blackout on Week 6, Saturday night. The whole area was in complete darkness and we needed candles to light up every room! But that didn't really spoil the night as we had a BBQ party just right outside the house with our friendly neighbours and some of the interns here. On the following day, we went to the water park were sun burned.
And by the way, we have just moved house as the company needs to do some adjustment to the lodgings due to the new incoming interns. Before we actually leave the house, we planted red/green beans, chilli and ginger just outside the house and it'll be well taken care of by our neighbour.(See pix below)
Just a brief email for now. We will be back in Singapore soon as this will be the last week for us here.

Our car project has been completed successfully and was delivered to mexico city today. No pictures as we are not sure if we can disclose the pictures of the completed model yet.
How about more pictures of us instead...

The deadline is getting closer and we are progressing rather fast... We start the day with a meeting at 7am every morning for us to share what we had done the previous day and for Carlos to review our progress. We are now in the 2nd stage of doing the prototype car bumper.
We had a surprise visit from Hui Yee's mother as she was on a business trip at Las Vegas and decided to fly over to Mexico to visit us. She brought alot of Singapore food to last us for the rest of the stay. Daniel and Ricardo from IES was also here to visit us on Thursday and we are very happy to see fellow Singaporeans in Mexico. During the weekend, our neighbour brought us around for some sight-seeing at the famous 'Grutas' caves. It was an eye opener as we do not get to see these sights in Singapore.
There was an earthquake measuring 6.3 on the ritcher scale on Friday at 12.45am. However, we were disappointed that we didn't experience it in the outskirts of cuernavaca as we were sound asleep. We have settled down and gotten used to the tortillas and chillies here!

A major client of Air Design has pushed forward the deadline from 3 months to a month and we need to do a prototype of the car parts. As the deadline is very tight, there is no time for computerised RPT and thus, we have to do the mould manually using fiber glassing. It is a very enriching experience as this is the first time we will learnt how automobile fibre glassing is done.Everyday is exciting as we are learning alot. Hope we can meet the deadline (wish us luck!!)and have our work seen on the roads in the near future.

We arrived in Mexico City at around 2am (our flight was delayed) and Carlos from Air Design was there to pick us up. Currently, we are staying in Carlos' house as he will show us around Mexico this weekend. We would be shifting to our new home after that.
We had a tour around Air Design today and the company is 'WOW'!!! They have the best facilities and very high tech. CNC and vacuum forming machines.
Mexico is 14 hours behind Singapore time. The weather is rather warm in the day but rather cold in the night. We are well taken care of so no worries, :)
